IFX BROKERS
In the coastal town of Jeffrey’s Bay, DMV Architecture was commissioned to design the new offices for iFX Brokers, an ambitious and fast-growing player in global financial trading. Since its launch in 2016, iFX has evolved from a small start up into a dynamic organisation with global reach. The brief was to create a space that captures both the company’s roots and its forward momentum. The resulting building presents a high performance identity where industrial grit meets refined precision. Defined by crisp white steel frames and a rhythmic facade of angled louvres, the design plays with light and shadow to create depth and movement while balancing transparency and discretion — a reflection of the brand itself.
Inside, the concept of navigation anchors the interior design. Nautical references speak to iFX’s journey through the shifting tides of global finance, expressed through details like vertical timber cladding reminiscent of a yacht’s hull and a reception desk shaped like a bow. A geometric screen in iFX’s corporate colours defines the central circulation zone, while the sculptural white staircase mirrors this form to create flow and cohesion. Subtle design gestures — from custom wall vinyls mapping financial trends to deep blue carpeting that evokes the ocean — reinforce the narrative of direction and momentum.
The top floor boardroom, like the bridge of a yacht, offers panoramic views over Jeffrey’s Bay, symbolising leadership and foresight. Open layouts and natural light promote collaboration, while the facade’s screen continues to act as a visual metaphor for adaptability and balance. Every element, inside and out, reflects iFX’s values of clarity, adaptability and trust. The result is more than a workplace — it is an architectural embodiment of a brand that is both grounded and visionary.
