PROJECT 11669
This modest small house is carefully perched on an extremely steep site. What results is a tree house as the accommodation is among the upper branches of the foliage of the large trees growing lower down the slope. The daring design shows a clarity of concept, legibility and livability with simple and practical finishes while the design engages the slope with a light footprint.
The main accommodation on one level with the guest suite tucked under at one end generates a spatial organization that achieves a sense of dwelling between inside and outside – as if on a sheltered balcony.
